The optical service is composed of 6 people.
We are the experts of space instruments for astrophysics research. We work on different types of optic instrument like telescope, microscope, camera, spectrometer and imaging spectrometer. Our skills cover a wide range of wavelengths, from EUV, UV, visible, IR, up to submillimetric.
Our missions are:

Ensure the role of experts or advisors in design and manufacture of space instruments and in data interpretation to scientists and space agencies.

Perform the work from pre-study, design, modeling, performance analysis, integration, to testing and calibration of instruments.

Assume the instrument performances.
- Manage project development.
We work closely with scientists and other profession engineers throughout the projects.
