Results from the 12-pixel radiance data set (or LOI data set)

Here are some recent results to be presented at the 'Crossroad for solar physics../...', conference to be held in Tenerife in March 98

• Collapsed diagramme for l=1 for 691 days of LOI data  and for 610 days of MDI data

• Echelle diagramme for l=1 for 691 days of LOI data  and for 610 days of MDI data

 
• The cleaning of an l=3 mode by leakage matrix inversion, shown for LOI data: original, cleaned

Here is a list of less recent results with their associated plots

• Ground- vs space-based measurements for l=1, m=0

 
• p-mode in the guiding signals as echelle diagramme

 
• Detection of the passage of active regions as from March 27, 1996

 
• The rotation of the solar core

 
• Echelle diagrammes for m=0 modes showing the detection of up to l=5 modes; and for m=1, l=6  
 
• Linewidth of low-degree p modes for 1 year of data 

All these results are to be quoted 'By courtesy of the VIRGO team, 1998' except where MDI appears.
