How to reach the University of Orsay :
- By public transportation (RER B): from anywhere in Paris, take the ``metro'' (see subway map)
and join the line B of the ``Reseau Express Regionnal'', RER B, in blue on the RER map.
Take the direction of St Remy les Chevreuse, and get off at Orsay-Ville. Then, take the underpass that goes under the railtracks
(see photo)
and take a little street on the left ("Rue Georges Clemenceau" - see photo),
parrallel to the railtracks, which lead to the campus.
Then, see "how to reach the conference site".
-
By car: maybe not the easiest way, but if you have chosen this mean of transportation, two highways lead from Paris to Orsay. Better than long
explanations, follow the direction "Bordeaux/Nantes" to find these highways,
and then have a look at the map. The time necessary for a trip
Paris-Orsay by car varies from 20mn (at 3AM on a week day) to infinity (on rush hours at the beginning of a week-end for example).
Once on the campus, see "how to reach the conference site".
How to reach the site of the conference :
The conference will take place in the Amphitheatre Lehman of the LAL, which is a 10 mn walk from the RER
station "Orsay-Ville". The LAL is building 200 on the following map.
