Detections are based on calibrated hyperspectral image-cubes of the C-channel of the OMEGA instrument, ranging from 1 to 2.5 μm and corrected for atmospheric and aerosol contributions. A total of 900 individual OMEGA image-cubes were modelled at the pixel scale. Using a radiative transfer model, the quantitative composition of hydrated minerals at Mars is derived at 64 ppd resolution. Only pixels with pre-determined detections of aqueous minerals are modeled (see MOCAAS project and maps). Abundances in vol%.
