Elle vise \u00e0 aborder deux questions cl\u00e9s du programme <strong>Vision Cosmique 2015\u20132025<\/strong> de l&rsquo;ESA :<\/p><ol start=\"1\"><li><strong>Quelle est l&rsquo;origine de l&rsquo;inflation ?<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Comment l&rsquo;Univers a-t-il \u00e9volu\u00e9 ?<\/strong><\/li><\/ol><p>Pour r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 la premi\u00e8re question, PRISTINE cartographiera les anisotropies du <strong>Fond Diffus Cosmologique (FDC)<\/strong> en temp\u00e9rature et en polarisation, ce qui permettra de mesurer les motifs de polarisation \u00e0 grande \u00e9chelle caus\u00e9s par les ondes gravitationnelles reliques produites durant l&rsquo;inflation.<\/p><p>La deuxi\u00e8me question sera trait\u00e9e en mesurant le spectre du FDC avec une pr\u00e9cision am\u00e9lior\u00e9e de deux ordres de grandeur par rapport aux limites obtenues par l&rsquo;instrument <strong>COBE\/FIRAS<\/strong> en
