Abstract | The helioseismic Global Oscillation at Low Frequency (GOLF) instrument on board SoHO, has been observing the Sun continuously for the last 14 years. In this work we characterize the acoustic modes over the entire p-mode range up to ~3.5 mHz with a special care for the low-frequency modes taking advantage of the stability and the high duty cycle (>94%) of space observations. Reference p-mode parameters, at low activity level, have been obtained by simultaneously fitting one-year subseries letting every mode parameter vary following a surface activity proxy. The results will be discussed. |
